Razer has introduced its latest Seiren V3 series of desktop microphones, featuring both Chroma and Mini variants. While both versions share similar hardware, the Chroma variant offers additional perks, including RGB integration.
Positioned as the flagship model, the Seiren V3 Chroma boasts customizable lighting options and impressive recording capabilities. It introduces a multi-function tap-to-mute sensor on top, allowing users to effortlessly mute their audio. Users can assign controls for added functionalities, such as toggling through RGB lighting effects with a double tap. The microphone, functioning as a Super cardioid Condenser, is designed to capture voices while minimizing background disturbances like keyboard clicks. Advanced gain settings, including a digital limiter, prevent audio distortion, and an LED indicator warns users when input levels exceed a set threshold.
The RGB integration supports 16.8 million colors, enabling users to synchronize the microphone's lighting with other Razer peripherals. In contrast, the Razer Seiren V3 Mini serves as the compact, entry-level counterpart to the flagship microphone. Despite its smaller size, it inherits many features, including tap-to-mute functions and customizable controls. The Mini, also a condenser microphone with super cardioid pickup patterns, effectively suppresses background noise and features a built-in shock absorber to mitigate accidental bumps during streams or podcasts.
While the Seiren V3 Mini lacks RGB Chroma integration, it is available in three colors: Black, White, and Quartz. Both the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma and Seiren V3 Mini are now available on the brand’s official online store, with the former priced at RM689 and the latter at RM259.
